Abstract
An example of anti‐Lan developed after a single unit transfusion. Blood from two male siblings, and one unit out of 407 random donors were found to be compatible. The patient developed two additional antibodies, one of which was anti‐E, after transfusion with cells from the random donor and siblings. The Lan antigen is not closely linked to ABO, Rh, Duffy, Kidd or P systems. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
