Experimental and natural infection of the conjunctiva of rats

Abstract

Experimental inoculation of organisms isolated from the conjunctiva of rats with clinical signs of conjunctivitis did not produce any disease. Natural transmission of these organisms from infected parents to their young diminished with succeeding generations.
