Abstract
A digital way to produce an integral multiple of the frequency of periodic trigger pulses is described. This procedure is used to generate the sampling pulses for the ADC of a time-series analyzer. The device which implements this method is called sampling frequency generator (SFG). A comparison is made between this digital method and the analog frequency multiplication method by means of a PLL.Keywords
