Abstract
The dependence of the unsaturated Lorentzian dispersion‐mode line‐shape function on the amplitude of low‐frequency sinusoidal modulation is determined in closed form. The results for signal broadening and shape distortion are plotted and tabulated. A comparison is made with experimental points determined using a Mn++‐doped water sample. Keywords
