Abstract
The records were studied of 77 cases of acute intussusception in children which occurred in Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire and Banffshire [Scotland, UK] during 1967-1976. There was a decrease in age specific incidence of about 1/3 since a previous study in the same region was performed between 1950-1959. The decline in rates was greater for rural areas than for Aberdeen City; it was more marked for girls than for boys. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
