Plasma prolactin levels and age in a female population: Relation to breast cancer

Abstract
Plasma prolactin levels have been measured in over 4,000 normal women. The relation between hormone levels and age fits a cubic equation. It is suggested that a curve of this nature would generate the observed ageincidence curve for breast cancer, if prolactin were a carcinogen or promoter.This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
