Abstract
Theory of rotational distortion in multiplet band spectra.—Hund's theoretical interpretation of the contracting multiplet type band spectra for diatomic molecules is thrown into quantitative form for the doublet case and also for the extreme components of higher multiplicities. The discussion is based on the conventional Bohr theory. Keywords
