Abstract
Conidiation mutants were isolated from the fungus T. viride, and tested for complementation by anastomosis and protoplast fusion. They could be grouped into 3 classes: color mutants; mutants with reduced conidiation; and nonconidiating mutants. Several mutants of the last 2 classes were incapable of anastomosis, but via protoplast fusion they produced heterokaryons suitable for complementation tests.
