Abstract
Summary Forty-six patients with active guinea-worm disease, who had previously suffered considerable pain, discomfort, and misery lasting many months each time they had a guinea-worm lesion were selected to study the effect of niridazole in this disease. With niridazole all patients showed rapid healing, painless extrusion of guinea worm, and quick relief. Keywords
