Abstract
Alpha methyl dopa pretreatment, 35 mg/kg or 200 mg/kg intraperitoneally, had no effect on tremor produced in mice by methylamphetamine, tremorine or nicotine. The drug did, however, modify the tremor produced by harmine and 5-hydroxytryptophan. The greater dosage of alpha methyl dopa also produced sedation. Keywords
