Limitℏ→0in Quantum Field Theory

The $\hslash$ dependence of an arbitrary diagram in a theory with an arbitrary interaction is investigated by a straightforward counting of the degree in $\hslash$. It is shown that as a rule the contributions of loop diagrams do not vanish in the limit $\hslash \to 0$. Remarks are made on the relevance of the $\hslash \to 0$ limit in quantum field theory to the actual classical limit.
