Abstract
Numerous aspects of hospitalization are inherently stressful to young children. The stress immunization techniques of systematic desensitization, cognitive rehearsal, and modeling can be used by nurses to promote behavioral and cognitive controls in pediatric patients, thereby reducing the child's level of stress.Keywords
