Abstract
Three cases of Kartagener's Syndrome diagnosed in the Pediatric Respiratory Unit. Hospital Guillermo Grant Benavente, are analized. This rare syndrome was described for the first time in 1933. Our cases a bov and two girls between six and eight years of age present an history of chronic bronchitis since the first months ot vear-life. Otlier causes of chronic bronchitis were discharged. Two oi them suffered also bronchial asma. Bronchography demos trared right unilateral basal bronchiectasis in two. and left basal bronchiectasis in the third. In the three cases we found pneumatization of the mastoids, in two abnormal audiogram. Secretory IgA in saliva was found low normal in all them.
