Abstract
Small-angle scattering of x rays and neatrons enables to determine the radial density distribution of latent ion tracks as function of the deposited energy per unit path length. Assuming a Gaussianshape radial defect distribution, the diffusion along latent tracks can be described as a network of interconnected voids. The electric analogue of this network is used to interpret the experimental data. Keywords
