Abstract
In 13 patients with pectus excavatum the chief findings in the ecgs were (a) S1S3 or S1 Q3,(b) negative P waves in V7 and (c) qr or rsr1 in V-7. It is believed that these findings are chiefly related to clockwise rotation of the heart on its longitudinal axis, backward orientation of the auricular vector and transmission of intracavitary potentials to the right precordial leads. Keywords
