Abstract
Prenatal and early postnatal cocaine exposure may have lasting effects on brain development. Whereas adverse behavioral outcomes in exposed infants are plausible, they have not yet been well defined, due to methodological limitations of published studies. Improved research and clinical programs are needed to serve drug-exposed infants and their families. Keywords
