Disseminated Necrotizing Fasciitis of the Scalp

Abstract
The course of illness and treatment of 2 patients with necrotizing fasciitis of the scalp are reviewed. Both patients required extensive drainage in addition to intravenous antibiotics to check the septic process. The alopecia that developed in the course of the infection was temporary, and good hair growth ensued.
