Abstract
Matrix elements of the two-body, three-body and spin-orbit parts of Skyrme's interaction are calculated analytically in the asymptotic basis. These matrix elements only involve combinations of some simple functions which makes their numerical evaluation rather easy. In the asymptotic basis, we have also calculated matrix elements of a gaussian interaction. Finally a method is proposed for the derivation of matrix elements of the Yukawa (and in particular Coulomb) interaction type from gaussian matrix elements
