Abstract
We wish to explore the idea that a therapy group often significantly adopts family patterns of behaviour. We are specifically interested in groups for adolescents with emotional problems. In order to facilitate this process we believe that the therapists, in a co-therapy situation, should ideally be a man and a woman. This will allow for the ‘transference’ relationship to occur within the group. Keywords
