Abstract
A set of Zr-based amorphous transition metal alloys is investigated. It is found that the electron-phonon interaction lambda is proportional to the temperature derivative of the electrical resistivity d rho /dT, i.e. lambda =kd rho /dT. The experimental results for lambda and d rho /dT are consistent with the value of k calculated from the generalised Ziman model and show that k of the order -20K ( mu Omega cm)-1 for these alloys. Keywords
