Abstract
The earlier finding of microhamartomatous rectal polyps in tuberous sclerosis (TSC)2 is detailed. These polyps are common, occurring in 14 of 18 (78%) patients with TSC in the present series, and they do not cause symptoms. Their distinctive appearance and distribution readily distinguish them from other types of rectal polyp and emphasize their importance as a potentially useful clinical marker of TSC.Keywords
