Abstract
Soft-in/soft-out decoding and equalization is performed by analog nonlinear networks where the log-likelihood values of bits are represented by currents and voltages. Applications include decoding of block, tailbiting conv. codes, multilevel coded modulation and combined equalization and decoding. Keywords
