Abstract
During construction and operation of a facility, the soil upon which a structure is founded may often be subjected to vibrations of magnitudes exceeding its elastic range. Steady-state vibrations are introduced by compaction and other construction equipment and by the unbalanced forces of installed machinery.Keywords
