The angiographic patterns of some malformations of the brain, namely hydranencephaly, porencephaly, lobar holoprosencephaly, occipital en-cephalocele, Arnold-Chiari malformation and Dandy-Walker cyst, are described and the diagnostic value of angiography in these various malformations of infants is emphasized. The aims of this paper are: (1) to show the angiographic findings in certain malformations of the brain in infants, and (2) to stress the value of angiography in identifying these malformations, which on the clinical may be mistaken for hydrocephalus.
