Abstract
The rate of urinary excretion of P in man under normal circumstances does not depend primarily on the conc. of P in the serum, although it may be influenced by changes in the latter. Following the intraven. injs. of large amts. of neutral iso-tonic sodium phosphate soln. in normal man, the rate of urinary excretion of P is mainly detd. by the conc. of P in serum. Injected P is distributed through a greater vol. than that of the extracellular fluid. Keywords
