Abstract
A two-stage logarithmic amplifier is described for the generation of the function V0=A+ln(B-ln Vi), and its application to first- order spectrophotometric chemical kinetic measurements is discussed. Each stage uses two adjacent integrated circuit transistors in the negative feedback circuit of an operational amplifier to generate a logarithmic function and gives logarithmic response over five decades of input potential (0.1 mV to 10 V).Keywords
