Abstract

Persons who deal with the older adult on a regular basis will come in contact with individuals who wear hearing aid(s) and/or who have some degree of hearing loss. This discussion delineates the process of diagnosing and managing a hearing loss and provides the geriatric care professional with general information concerning the types of hearing aids he or she may come across.
