Abstract
Luria's Neuropsychological Investigation (LNI), developed for the west by Christensen, has been adapted for Zulu-speaking individuals. A team consisting of psychologists and linguists of both cultures was found to be a necessary requirement for the adaptation. Differences in culture, language and education confounded the interpretation of behavioural responses. These problems have implications for all psychological assessments. Keywords
