Abstract
Drastic changes are observed in both the magnitude and the energy dependence of the attachment cross section, sigma a( epsilon ), for the formation of O-2 with increasing N2 density in O2-N2 mixtures. At low densities sigma a( epsilon ) exhibits distinct structure attributed to electron capture into vibrational states of O2-.Keywords
