Abstract
An effect of material from the caudal neurosecretory system of a teleost on the isolated toad bladder is described. Urophysial breis from Gillichthys mirabilis result in dose-related water movement across the bladder. As little as one one-hundredth of a urophysis induces a threefold increase in osmotic water movement. Keywords
