Abstract
MISMATCH NEGATIVITY (MMN) is a brainwave to stimuli deviating from preceding repetitive stimuli, thought to reflect the operations of echoic memory, generally uninfluenced by cognitive operations.1,2(However, some studies3,4 report small attention effects.) Mismatch negativity has been elicited by changes in pitch,5 intensity,6 location,7 and tone sequences.8 The MMN is reliable9 across sessions. Keywords
