Abstract
The general and analytical chemistry of Ir are reviewed and applications to the radiochemistry of Ir are discussed. Topics covered include dissolution of samples containing Ir, counting techniques for radioactive Ir isotopes, radiochemical procedures for Ir radionuclides, and safety practices.
