Abstract
It is shown that the Oguchi transformation in the theory of ferromagnetism is a low-temperature spin-wave approximation, whose validity depends on the implicit assumption that the kinematical interaction can be ignored. This limitation has the consequence that the theory of Oguchi and Honma, if accepted at higher temperatures, predicts an infinite Curie temperature. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
