Abstract
A tapped acoustic-surface-wave delay line is used to produce a passive coded transporder for short-range applications. The technique is particularly convenient for operation in the v.h.f. band. It requires very low interrogation power, of the order of 2 mW, and an operating bandwidth of about 1 MHz.Keywords
