Abstract
In order to obtain efficient access to novel technetium and rhenium complexes in radiotracer design, the principle of preparing mixed-ligand complexes in which small-sized chelate units are bound to biologically relevant substituents was applied to thioglucose and thiocholesterol as substituents. Complexes of rhenium(V) of the formula [ReO(SSS)(SR)](HSSSH = tridentate dithiol HSCH2CH2SCH2CH2SH; RSH = 1-thio-β-D-glucose and cholest-5-en-3β-thiol) were prepared and structurally characterized. Keywords
