Abstract
Under the term " reticuloses" are strictly included those diseases whose most important morphological characteristic is the proliferation of reticulo-endothelial cells, and whose cause is at present unknown. The autopsy findings in such cases suggest that these diseases are new growths. The general validity of this theory is discussed. There is often an association between reticuloses and abnormal hematological findings, especially leukemic blood pictures.
