Abstract
The addition of pharmacotherapy to psychotherapy in the treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is increasingly common. This paper describes some of the complexities involved in combining these two therapeutic modalities, specifically when pharmacotherapy is added to an ongoing psychotherapeutic treatment of combat-related PTSD.Keywords
