Abstract
New path assignment control methods for improving network survivability and fairness, collectively called intelligent path assignment control (IPAC), are proposed. IPAC can improve survivability and fairness by using transmission network data and circuit network data. Dynamic routing can reinforce the survivability and fairness provided by IPAC. Currently, extensive performance evaluation and implementation methods are being studied. Keywords
