Abstract
The complex formation of Mg2+, Ca2+, Pb2+, Mn2+, Fe2+, C02+, Ni2+, Cu2+, Zn2+, Cd2+, Hg2+ and Cu+ with l,l0‐Phenanthroline and K, α′‐Dipyridil have been investigated using potentiometric measurements (20°, μ = 0,l (NaNO3)). Since some of these complexes are formed in rather acid solution the usual procedure of pH titration would not be very suitable. For this season displacement reactions have been measured in many cases. The results of these measurements are in good agreement with those obtained using the pHg‐method or redox potential measurements.
