Abstract
This report of a subcommittee of the AWWA Research Committee on Coagulation, which has been approved by the Technical and Professional Council, updates the state of the art of organics removal by coagulation. Where the influence of operational variables on organics removal has been determined these observations are summarized, and where limited or no data are available, research needs are stressed. Keywords
