Abstract
The toxicities of morphine, MgSO4, and strychnine for controls and rats "dehydrated" by withholding water were compared. Morphine sufficient to kill 30 % of the controls killed all the test rats. For MgSO4 the percentages were respectively 25 and 90. Strychnine appeared less toxic for the test animals, only 48% dying from a dose fatal to 58% of the controls. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
