Abstract
An improved revision is described of a previously reported, inexpensive, simple to construct, radial pattern generating engine, which has been developed to supply the bulk of needs for Indian technological products. It provides, especially when used with its microprocessor controller, a flexible, rapidly set up, general-purpose facility for the manufacture of medium accuracy masters of such metrological patterns as scales, line gratings, absolute multi-track encoder discs, spirals, circles, zone plates and variable density and variable width circular tracks. Keywords
