Abstract
Astrocystis mirabilis, the type species, is transferred to Rosellinia, as R. mirabilis comb. nov. Herbarium and cultural studies show R. mirabilis and R. bambusae to be distinct species with Acanthodochium anamorphs. These xylariaceous taxa are related to the amphisphaeriaceous genus Collodiscula. The disposition of other species of Astrocystis is discussed. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
