Abstract
Nuclear magnetic resonance measurements have been carried out on the benzene—silver perchlorate complex at 77° and 298°K. The results show that at the lower temperature the benzene molecule in the complex is more or less rigidly held in the crystal lattice, whereas at room temperature it is rotating more or less freely about the sixfold molecular symmetry axis. Keywords
