Abstract
A simple method of identifying cells [e.g., from ascitic fluid from a patient with ovarian carcinoma] for scanning electron microscopy (SEM) is described. The method is very rapid and allows easy correlation between light microscopy and SEM. The procedure can be used with specially prepared cell suspensions as well as with routine smears.
