Abstract
The spectrum of disease known as dandruff/seborrhoeic dermatitis has been shown to be due to infection of the skin by the Pityrosporon species of fungus. Ketoconazole shampoo has been shown to suppress effectively both the organism's growth and the symptoms and signs of the clinical disorder. Keywords
