Abstract
The effect of degree of dogmatism, as defined by Rokeach, upon learning in a classroom situation was tested on college Ss. It was hypothesized that if dogmatism implied a "closed cognitive structure" that this would affect the capacity to learn, independently of academic apitude. The results confirmed the hypothesis.
