Abstract
A device to modify the physiological impact of the abrupt transition of IPPV and PEEP to spontaneous breathing is described. It consists of a coaxial breathing system with a spring-loaded reservoir bag and underwater pressure limit. Electric alarms are incorporated.Keywords
