Abstract
Anoxia interferes with the inhibitory effect of norepinephrine on the intestinal motility. This inhibition can be reversed by the addition of O2. In contrast, histotoxic anoxia induced by sodium cyanide results in a complete and permanent paralysis of the intestinal motility. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
