Observation of the Charmed Strange Baryon

Abstract
We present evidence from the CLEO detector for the charmed strange baryon . It is seen in nonresonant annihilations at of 10.5 GeV through its decay to . The measured mass is 2471 ± 3 ± 4 MeV/.
